Producers interested in learning how to conserve energy on your operation should follow the link below. To qualify for a free energy assessment, the Texas State Energy Conservation Office has set a threshold of $50,000 of annual energy usage including electricity, gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, and other fuels. Those that do not qualify for the free assessment will receive an energy savings booklet with general energy savings tips. The Chisholm Trail RC&D 11-county area has a certified data collector available to perform the follow-up verifications required for an energy assessment.
